Talking About Burnout Is Still Taboo at Work

This HBR article by by Keith Ferrazzi and Jacinta Jiménez addresses a topic that is getting more – and much needed – attention as workers seek to regain balance in their lives. The authors provide 18 questions to probe workers on their status and the support mechanisms in place in any given organization. They also provide the first steps of an action plan that will help to develop a dialogue, which is Step #1 to addressing any issue. We encourage workers and employers to take up this topic in earnest to maintain productivity and insure burn-out is appropriately addressed.
